Master Falconer
On Thursday afternoon, James Eyring, master falconer from Pace University, paid us a visit. He demonstrated his art with owls and birds of prey. It's always a treat to have Jim with us.
Wolf Conservation Center
On Friday October 3rd, the WCC out of South Salem New York, came for their annual visit. Atka, the ambassador wolf/teacher, gave everyone a close-up to a few of his behaviors. This Arctic Wolf is a busy ambassador. He travels quite a bit and helps teach the importance of wolves in our ecosystem and the role they play. The WCC helps raise awareness about the plight of several species of wolves; the Mexican Gray Wolf, the Red Wolf and the Gray Wolf. For more information please visit the following link:
